Do you still use a WM6 phone and find it works great for you? Do you use the My Phone service for free from Microsoft to backup your contacts and text messages? You may have just found out how Microsoft is going to force you to move to Windows Phone 7. They are pulling the plug on the My Phone service in lieu of using SkyDrive to provide this service from August 7 onwards. You will have until October 6th to download all of your data to your phone before they will remove that ability. If you cannot perform that then you have until October 2012 to order a CD or DVD with that information from them.
I will do some investigating to see if it is possible to use SkyDrive on WM6 but it seems like that is a “No” so far.
